Matěj Smetana (1980) je vizuální umělec, autor komiksů, objektů, instalací a videí. Své filmy obvykle vytváří pro galerijní prostředí. Mezi jeho audiovizuální projekty patří rotoskopová série Je to jenom film (2004) na motivy hororových filmů či série animací Továrna (2012). Od podzimu 2023 vede společně s Alicí Nikitinovou Ateliér kresby na pražské AVU.
